Recently I have came across a term called “vegan leather”. Or maybe I have been watching a lot of Uncle Roger YouTube videos whereby I noticed there are a lot of Londoners are vegan.😅
Hmm.. What is vegan leather?
Vegan leather is actually faux leather aka pu leather. There is a range of materials that can be used to make vegan leather. including synthetics like plastic and natural materials such as cork. Unfortunately, the most common leather alternative is petroleum-based plastic, called polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It’s made with fossil fuels, can be harmful to human health, and is not biodegradable.
Is vegan leather bad for environment?
Absolutely yes. 😜
Does vegan leather fade?
